Installation and maintenance of teak
Graduated from a BTMS Cabinetmaker (Brevet Technique des Métiers Supérieur) in Wood Art and a former student of Beaux Arts, our chief cabinetmaker directs all cabinet work to be carried out on your boat.
By virtue of its intrinsic qualities, teak is a non-slip, rot-proof wood, but above all precious… Bringing charm and beauty to your unit. Furthermore, its installation on the deck, on the platform or even inside a boat provides comfort, elegance and safety when traveling on board.
In order to improve the general aesthetics of your boat, our team offers you meticulous and high quality work, always ensuring your future well-being: renovation (surfacing + seals) and / or partial or complete replacement of the teak of your boat, indoors or outdoors.
PORT D’HIVER YACHTING uses top quality varnishes to achieve an exceptional finish. All our varnishes are resistant to UV and micro-scratches, and to achieve the best possible result, we do not skimp on the number of coats applied…
The secret of this process lies in the alliance of the skills of our cabinetmaker and the painter, one bringing the knowledge of woodworking in the preparation and protection of the funds (so that the support is completely isolated), the other providing mastery of the application of products.
Some 18 coats of varnish have made it possible to obtain this mirror effect on the deck of this magnificent AQUARIVA SUPER, entrusted to our team for a complete refurbishment (paint, varnish, mechanics…)
Teak is a noble wood that is pleasant to work with: it requires special know-how provided by our chief cabinetmaker in our PORT DHIVER YACHTING shipyard located in Bormes-les-Mimosas. Both outdoors and indoors, teak exudes elegance and atypical charisma.
Specialized in interior design for almost 20 years, our cabinetmaker is able to respond to all your requests and proposals in terms of interior or exterior design.

– Creation of furniture (wardrobe, cupboard…)
